Margaret Mary Dinkelacker, 74, of Edison died on August 2, 2012, at JFK Hospital in Edison with her loving family by her side. Margie was born September 16, 1937, in Freeland, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Hazel Township High School, Class of 1955. She resided in Edison for the last 50 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. Margie kept family traditions alive and there was always Sunday dinner at “Grandma’s house.” If you asked Margie what her greatest gift in life was, she would say, “ my children and grandchildren.”
Margie was predeceased by her two sisters, Anne Rusnak and Mary Horinko. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Dinkelacker of Edison; three daughters: Lisa Dzama and her husband Greg of Edison, Amy Nissen and her husband Jon of Washington, NJ, and Sarah Dinkelacker of Edison; four sons: Mark Dinkelacker of Edison, Eric Dinkelacker of Plainsboro, NJ, Gary Dinkelacker and his wife Cheryl of Fords, NJ, and Otto Dinkelacker of Florida; 12 grandchildren: Alicia, Christian, Gregory, Amanda, Matthew, Jessica, Joseph, Zach, Ben, Justin, Katy, and Richie; 3 great-grandchildren: Gianna, Brianna, and Liam; 3 nephews: Ronnie Horinko, Stevie Horinko, and John Rusnak; and a niece, Terri Stek.
Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Monday 8:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will be private.
